Hanging out in space

I got my bus pass for school today. I start really soon!

Art class was my favorite thing about school last time. My other favorite was learning about the planets hanging out in space.

I can name them: Pluto, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune. I don't know if that's the way they go.

And there's this one:

earth

That's us!

Dad needs a bigger scanner.

I like learning things about the planets. There's a storm on one that's been going on forever. At least a hundreds of years. A bunch of them have rings. And some of them are just balls of gas with no land. Saturn is one. And Uranus is a big ball of gas too.

Dad says planets can be funny sometimes.

I guess.

Comments:
That pictures awesome! I have 18 years on you and I couldn't do that good of a job!

Planets are hilarious. Especially the one that starts with the U (you'll get it when you're older) :p

That's a great finger painting (that is finger painting right?) - I think you have inspired me to start reliving my childhood again - finger painting here I come!! I hope I don't get any on the carpet... I can hear my mom yelling at me in my head about not making a mess with the paints :)

oops - nope, just looked at it again closer, looks like paintbrush painting - I still want to finger paint though :)

Very nice! There used to be a Kids' show on TV called "Big Blue Marble," about kids all over the planet. They called it that because they said from space, the Earth looked like a big blue marble. Your painting reminded me of that.

You are the same age as one of my nieces. But she had to start school lask week!

Hi Thomas!

Thanks for sharing your art with us! You're very talented!

Here's a neat way to learn the planets:

My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas.

Get it? Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. :-)

Hi Thomas!

I really like how you handled the brush with this one. The blue of the ocean looks like it's actually swirling!

That is a wonderful picture!!! I love reading your blog... Your pictures are great!!

WOW! Great Job! I love the colors you choose to draw and paint with. Keep up the good work!

I love the openes of space.

Thanks for a nice picture of us. :)

Hi Thomas,
You've impressed me with each piece of artwork you put on your blog! You've got the double-whammy: a love for art and a talent to back it up.

Lucky guy!

Hey Thomas,

Great picture of Earth. If that white spot near the top is the Arctic that is where I live. You have a great deal of talent, but more importantly a great deal of curiousity. Both will take you far.

My son is three years old, and also likes painting. A lot of the time he gets more paint on him than on the paper

Hey there big guy; your painting is fantastic!!!

I've been painting since I was your age...keep it up! The longer you work at it the more you learn and the better you get. Not only that, but it's kinda cool being able to put paintings of whatever you want on your walls! I have the feeling your room has lots of...hmmm...dinosaurs?

can I put that picture on my computer desktop at work? That's fantastic!

well space is not a good place to hang out cause there is not air and you floated so that have to affect the human plus the motion sickness also is terrific
